The 11th Annual Hilton Head Island Boat Show, May 1-3, takes place in Windmill Harbour, home to the magnificent South Carolina Yacht Club. This show features power and sail boats?both freshwater and saltwater?ready for boarding and viewing. In-water sea trials are available by appointment, while the onshore Nautical Village will offer everything from fishing gear and engines to artwork and luxury items. You can brush up on your boating skills with free sessions taught by industry experts, or sample upscale wine, spirits and culinary delights at Taste of the Harbour on Friday and Saturday evening. It's a waterside celebration you won't want to miss.

Blend family-friendly bike-riding with excellent culinary offerings at local restaurants during Hilton Head-Bluffton Chamber's Bike and Dine Week Presented by Coligny, May 2-9. Ride to your favorite restaurant and take advantage of the "Bike and Dine" discount. Participating restaurants include Bomboras Grille, British Open Pub and Captain Woody's, among others. During this week, the Chamber will also be hosting Safe Ride to School Day and Bike to Work Day. The week ends with a Community Beach Bike Ride at Coligny Plaza.

This Memorial Day weekend once again beings the annual Hilton Head Island Art Festival with Craft Marketplace, May 23-24. Now in its seventh year, this festival, located in Shelter Cove, features the creations of some of the country?s most extraordinary artists and crafters. Admission is free.
