IMPACT100 ANNOUNCES 2016 GRANT FINALISTS
Total Grants Awarded since 2008 surpasses $2 Million

Impact100 Philadelphia announces five finalists for its 2016 grant awards totaling $380,000. Three organizations will receive project-related grants of $100,000 each. Impact100 will also award two non-profits unrestricted operating grants of $30,000 each. The remaining $20,000 will be awarded to project grant winners as additional unrestricted operating funds.

"We are thrilled to be awarding $380,000 to outstanding non-profits in the region this year," said Co-President Susan Dubow.  "Applicants submit to a thorough evaluation process, and this year, our grant committees selected five organizations we believe best represent the focus areas we fund, and the needs of our community at this time."

Co-President Mary Grace Tighe continued, "Our collective model is very appealing to women looking to learn more about philanthropy and make a difference with their giving. Pooling donations allows us to make high-impact grants to Philadelphia area nonprofits and at the same time, educate and engage members in the issues they address."

The finalists chosen for 2016 are:
Arts & Culture: Art-Reach
Health & Wellness: Supportive Older Women's Network (SOWN)

Impact100 Philadelphia's seeks to provide transformational funding to smaller nonprofits, often without access to grants on this scale.  In 2015, Impact100 Philadelphia awarded $378,000 to five organizations - Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, Community Learning Center,
Awbury Arboretum, The Center for Grieving Children, and Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA)

Volunteer at the Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting depends on Volunteers

Please consider volunteering at our 2016 Annual Meeting on June 6th.  Every year a dedicated team of volunteers ensures that the event is successful for members, guests and finalists. This year we are seeking volunteers willing to greet arrivals and register members and guests. Don't worry - you won't miss the party or the main event. Each volunteer position is scheduled for a limited time before the program begins. Volunteering at the Annual Meeting is a great way to meet members and share in the excitement of the event.
