Qualified applicants must have a masters level degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited Council on Social Work Education. Must have completed two years of clinical practice (3,000 hours), post-masters degree experience in a field such as psychology, counseling, marriage and family or social work is required. Experience in the provision of outpatient mental health services is preferred. Must have a valid and active license to practice marital and family therapy or mental health counseling by the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science, Professional Licensure Division. Is licensed at the highest level for discipline in Iowa for the practice in the particular field or is eligible le for the pertinent license. LISW is required.
