Summer Chemistry Workshop

It's time to get out those spy glasses and safety goggles as we mix, measure, pour and swirl into the world of chemistry.  We'll create chemical changes, make water flow uphill and turn liquids into solids as we explore reactions in making our own sidewalk chalk, volcanoes, crystals, density bottles and much more.  Each day is 'packed' with fun filled, hands on activities and experiments that are guaranteed to leave campers wanting more.

This is the perfect camp for those who love mixing up stuff and for those who might be a little shy about trying new things.  Early registration is a must. Camps have a limit to only 12 campers each. R egister by emailing  [email protected].

Chemical Explorations I for campers ages 4-6 will be held June 13th-15th from 9:30-12:00am
Chemical Explorations II for campers ages 7-10 will be held June 13th-15th from 1:00-3:30pm
The cost for each camp is $50.00.

Classes are taught by National Award Winning Teacher, Barbara James, M. Ed., NBCT.  Ms. James has worked as instructor of the gifted, science specialist and teacher in both the public and private sector for over 30 years.  Her work with science and children has been featured in news articles, presented on college campuses and to a wide variety of audiences.
