Transition to Independence: The Looming Crisis for Autism

Please join us for the Think Tank Workshop held on June 3 at 11:00am. This event provides an opportunity for interaction among community leaders, scientists, patients, health care professionals, and others to collaboratively brainstorm the gaps in knowledge existing that adversely effect the well being of individuals with ASD. This session will include brief talks from 5 panelists who will each bring a unique perspective on this topic.
Ambition For A Mission: FACCOC Golf Tournament
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County during their "Ambition for A Mission" golf tournaments held on June 14, 2016 at Pelican Hill. A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit The Center. For more information on how to attend or be a sponsor, visit their website.
Finding Center
Finding Center is a film about the lives of four families while raising children on the autism spectrum. "We hope this movie creates hope and awareness to the many families impacted by autism and to the community in general," says Crissy Liberati. Finding Center will donate a portion of proceeds to The Center. Click here to watch the trailer, rent, or purchase the movie.
Autism & Dental Training
The Center has joined a collaboration to provide a training class to dental assistants and dental hygienists (current students and those already working in the field). This collaboration is with Pacific Dental Services Foundation, Concorde Career College in Garden Grove, the ATN/AIR-P, and The Center. The event will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9am-12pm. Continuing education credits are being offered for those attending in person or via online. For more information or to RSVP, email [email protected].
Reach Out and Read!

A huge thank you to Vicki Booth and the Ueberroth Family Foundation for providing funds that will help us launch "Reach Out and Read" at our Center. The goal of this literacy effort is to foster a familiarity and enjoyment of books and help lay the foundation for later reading success. The grant will help us create a dedicated reading space in our waiting area which will have comfortable seating, bookcases, and appropriate books for all ages and reading levels.  If you would like to learn about ways to support our literacy effort, please contact Jennifer Smith at  [email protected].
