Greetings!

This month starts with good news! A book-art sculpture I especially made to submit to a juried exhibition, was accepted in and will soon be on its way to Cape Cod, MA. They will be publishing a book catalogue of the exhibition and there's a sneak peek to my artwork in the front cover. How exciting is that!

Also, the piece I made for this year's Oil Drum Art exhibition, had great coverage on the written media around CT. I really appreciate the promoters of this wonderful exhibition for using the image of my work to represent the show. What an honor!

If you haven't done so yet, and are able to do it, don't miss seeing this especial exhibition at Union Station in Hartford. It will be up until the 25th. You won't regret it!

On another note, I was so busy last month, between preparing and receiving the first guest artist to give a workshop in my studio, as well as getting ready for my Spring Open Studio, that didn't get the chance to update my blog. But please, stay tuned as I will be writing about my experience with the wonderful workshop with visiting artist Michelle Belto at my studio, as well as about the exhibition of Martin Kline we took Michelle to see, at the New Britain Museum of American Art. I will be also writing about my art process while making my latest Oil Drum Art. So, stay tuned!

To keep you updated, my Spring Open Studio was a great success, I even got a very nice visit from a large group visiting the US from Belgium! It was wonderful!

Want to give something special to mom on Mother's Day? This Saturday and Sunday, I will be selling, along with other artists and crafters, some of my artworks at Aux 3 Pommes in Guilford, CT. Please, feel free to stop by and say HI!!
No purchase necessary!

Wishing a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!

See you aROUND,

Corina
