Member Vicki Wilson who was just appointed as Assistant Coach to the World Ranked #1 Netball Team - New Zealand Silver Ferns. Read below on how you can contact Vicki to show your support.

Nominations are now open for players, coaches and managers for the representative and USA national teams, including Collegiate Team USA. Applications are now open. The teams will be travelling to compete in Canada August 2013.

NICKELODEON RECOGNIZES NETBALL AMERICA

Another win for American Netball! Netball America has recently received a grant from Nickelodeon Kids TV to further our disabled youth Netball education and physical fitness program in New York. So stay tuned for more updates on this program.

Nickelodeon is an American basic cable and satellite television network that is operated by the MTV Networks Kids & Family Group unit of Viacom. Their animated series include shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Power Rangers Megaforce. Aimed mainly at pre-teens and teenagers their slogan is 'Putting Kids First'. So it aligns perfectly with our Netball America Let's Move the Youth initiatives.

NETBALL AMERICA ADVISORY PANEL MEMBER JOINS SILVER FERNS

Regarded as the world's best goal shooter of her time, Vicki represented Australia for 15 yrs from 1985 and captained Australia from 96 - 99. Vicki led Australia to the first ever netball goal medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. Vicki received the Order of Australia Medal in 1992. In 2001, she was inducted into the Australian Institute of Sport 'Best of the Best'.

Now Vicki is taking her talent to the World Ranked #1 Team New Zealand Silver Ferns as the Assistant Coach. Read about her appointment here. Send Vicki your congratulations from the US on twitter @vickwilson. She'd love to hear from you.

NYCHA Netball Cup

The excitement is gearing up for our New York Youth event. We have the first ever NYCHA Cup for U/12's and U/18's. We have 8 great coaches and umpires to assist with this event so email us if you'd like to help.

PHILADELPHIA NETBALL GAMES & FESTIVAL

Join us for a fun filled day of Netball at the National Collegiate Rugby Championship on Saturday June 1st from noon at PPL Park, 1 Stadium Drive, Chester, Philadelphia, PA, 19013. We are expecting 18,000 people through the gates. For non-players we need help to promote Netball on Saturday June 1st and Sunday June 2nd.

GET A GIRL GOING IN ATLANTA

Our 8 week summer health and fitness program is kicking off for it's 2nd year in Atlanta. During 2012 in conjunction with the Women's Sports Foundation we launched the Go Girl Go! Atlanta program. This program is free for participants so if you have any teens or pre-teens in the Atlanta area wanting to sign up then send us an email. This program is being run by our members: Crusaders ATL; Gems; Tropical Omega and Netball Henry.

Theory Exams: June and October 2013.
