North Fork Valley Residents to Receive Public Hearing Notices Outlining Proposed North Fork Ambulance District
Over the next week or so, local property owners will receive a notice of public hearings to be held in regard to the Service Plan for a proposed North Fork Ambulance Health Service District. This is part of a proactive plan to ensure sustainable funding for ambulance service in the North Fork valley.

The North Fork Ambulance Board has determined that the establishment of a Special District is the most effective way to safeguard funding for the necessary ambulance service to this community while maintaining the response times and preserving the professionalism and high standard of care that is currently provided. The public hearing notices are required by law and is one of the many steps to move forward with a plan to ask North Fork valley voters to establish a Special District and approve funding for ambulance service in the form of a mill levy.

Melodrama at Crawford Pioneer Days
Mysterious circumstances surround a small newspaper in an even smaller western Colorado town. The free-spirited Felicity Fretwell, daughter of the aged newspaper editor has disappeared, leaving only a cryptic note to the Fretwell Children. Even in the face of chaos Felicity's handsome and stalwart husband, Fenwick Fretwell and the children carry on.

Does Mr. Hugo Nicely have anything to do with the disappearance or is he just running from a wicked Chicago loan shark? What role does the lovely, but deadly, Miss Malcia Malice have to play in this masquerade? And... what about the GOLD? Find the answers to these riveting questions and more at this year's Crawford Melodrama!
