May 2017

Dear Religious Education Families,

Next week we will celebrate the completion of an especially good year in
Religious Education with a May Crowning prayer service honoring Our Blessed Mother. May 13 marks the 100th anniversary of Our Lady's first appearance to the three children at Fatima, so we will acknowledge this Feast Day at our May Crownings.

The catechists and staff thank you so much for sharing your children with us and for the support you show to the program. We hope and pray that every member of your family has grown closer to Jesus Christ over the past nine months.

For those whose youngest child will be headed off to high school in the Fall, our
prayers go with your child and we will miss you! Encourage your high school children to stay close to their parish family by participating in the Spirit Youth Group, serving at Mass in whatever liturgical ministry they were trained for, and participating in other parish events. Continue to be good role models for your children by being faithful to Sunday Mass and remembering to pray as a family every day. Know that even though you may not have a child in our program, our Religious Ed staff is always here to answer questions and help your
family in any way that we can.

For those with children who will be returning next year, we will look forward to seeing you again.

May God bless every parent and child in our parish family and may you have a safe, restful and awesome summer!

In Christ's love,
St. Paul Religious Ed Staff
