Words From Our Scout Executive
Dear Donors, Parents and Scout Leaders,

Beaver Day a success despite the rain!   We had 60 Scouts and Leaders participate with over 373 hours of service performed at Camp Shenandoah.  Platforms, outriggers and cots were fixed, aquatics fence is progressing, archery storage area is started and clean up continues around maintenance on Saturday, April 22.  Additional pictures are found in the Rangers Corner.  Thanks to Brian Lynn, Camp Ranger and Jeff Holsinger, Properties Chair who helped spearhead our efforts
Troop 81 works on platforms for camp tents!
Hungry Scouts enjoy lunch at Beaver Day!

Progress continues at Camp Shenandoah!   We will be adding a second new cabin by the cook's cabin for female staff.  Foundation was poured last week and the cabin will be set next week.  Thank you to Craig Family for donating this cabin.  Also, a new outside walk-in refrigerator is being installed this week to replace the old one.  This walk-in will be larger and provide additional food storage for the dining hall.  Thanks to the Perry Foundation for their generous gift to make this possible.

Calling All Lions
null

Calling all Lion's - There will be a Lion Survey May 11-25!

Since its launch last fall, the Lion pilot program has grown from just four councils to more than 200. As we start laying the groundwork for recruiting and another year of activities, now is the perfect time to take a step back and see how we're doing.

Which is why, from May 11-25, we'll be sending out a survey to all registered parents and Lion Guides in participating councils.

Please help us spread the word in your council by letting parents know that it's coming. The more responses we receive, the better insights we'll be able to gain into our newest (and biggest ever) pilot program.
