To our Amazing Donate Life Volunteers:
We did it! We have survived another successful Donate Life Month! Thank you to everyone who volunteered for events, took pictures, planned their own initiatives, and shared their stories. It truly makes a difference. In April alone we covered our entire service area with the final number events totaling out around 60! Be sure to check out the photos below to catch a glimpse at what everyone was up to!
In addition to the upcoming May events and volunteer meetings below, I recently sent out a list of large-scale upcoming events. For those who did not receive it, I've re-copied the events here. Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to help out. If you're able to volunteer for any of the events or wish to RSVP for upcoming volunteer meetings, please let me know ASAP.
For those who do not already know, Lauren Quinn, CDT's Director of Hospital and Community Services, finished up her last day at CDT on Friday, April 28th. She will be moving to Houston, TX to take on an exciting new role at the LifeGift OPO. Those volunteers that have been with us for many years may remember when Lauren first started here - please join us in wishing her well!
And finally, registration is still open for our Donate Life Symposium and Celebration on May 18th! While the Symposium portion is geared toward healthcare professionals (with the opportunity to earn 4 CEUs from the AACN) the Celebration dinner is open to everyone. All are welcome to attend! The price to register through May 9th is $35 and includes cocktail hour, dinner and the awards ceremony. The price to register does go up after May 9th, so if you plan to attend, please register soon! Registration and more information can be found here:
www.cdtsymposium.com.
We are so thankful for your time and energy - thank you doesn't even begin to cover it! You're all lifesavers.
