Hello all:
Thanks to everyone who made it out in April. We had a great turnout for "Seduction".
We're also pleased announce that Leap Year applications are available for the 2012/2013 year. You can download them here. Additionally, we are thrilled with our recent grant from the Sarah Giles Moore Foundation to support the Leap Year Program. We are so thankful to all the wonderful organizations and individuals who have pledged to make this program a success.

As the City Sleeps

As The City Sleeps," is a group show opening on Saturday, May 12th.
Curated by Atlanta artists, Brandi Supra and Sean Fahie, "As The City Sleeps," is an exhibit concept developed over a year that will feature up and coming artists Emily Pidgeon, Estela Semeco, Jane Garver, Nikita Gale, and Will Mitchell. The show will focus on the artists' interpretations of what "Night," and life during this time represents to them. It will feature works in a variety of different mediums including interactive installation pieces, photography and drawings/paintings. The pieces will be not limited to showcasing Atlanta specifically, but will also include other locations.
The exhibit will run through Sunday, June 2nd.

Leap Year
April was a busy month for the Leap Year artists. Jane Garver spent some time at the Hambidge Center, John Paul Floyd was a finalist for the Forward Arts Foundation Award, and Chelsea Raflo has been working on pieces for the MINT group exhibit "Linearity" curated by Kelly McKernan. Additionally, all three artists have been selected to take part in an exhibit at Barbara Archer Gallery in June. Last but certainly not least, one of our mentors, Matt Haffner, received an NEA grant!
