Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse 
Madison South, Rose City Park/Hollywood, and Grant Park collection events in May are opportunities to get rid of unused items gathering dust in your home, apartment, and ADU and to reduce, recycle and/or reuse. Options to take home goods may be available. The clean-up schedule has information on all dates, locations, and what materials are accepted at each event. Read more.   
Dia de los Niños y las Niñas Involves Rigler and Beaumont 
 "Dia de los Niños y las Niñas" was a celebration of children, and all the hope and joy they represent. The event featured a parade in Cully with music by the Beaumont School Band, followed by dance performances and a community dinner. It was the first event sponsored by PBOT's new Portland in the Streets grant program.  Read more.

Free Movie and Concert Series in Neighborhood Parks!  
Starting in June the wildly popular Summer Free For All will feature outdoor events all summer long in neighborhood parks. It is a community-building, annual series consisting of free and culturally diverse, music, movies, and recreation near you. The schedule is out! Read more.  
Residential Infill Project Hearings 
New proposals that will shape our residential neighborhoods are ready for public review. The rules allow more families and households to live in residential areas as Portland grows, as well as limit the construction of very large new homes. The  Planning and Sustainability Commission will hear testimony on the Residential Infill Project Proposed Draft on May 8 and May 15.  Read more. 
2035 Comprehensive Plan Goes into Effect May 24th
