Friends meeting to feature local author
The Friends of Mead Public Library will host their annual meeting on April 26 featuring Sheboygan author and attorney Mary T. Wagner as guest speaker. Wagner, who counts newspaper journalist, truck stop waitress and radio talk show host among her previous job titles, has won regional and national awards for her humorous and empowering slice-of-life essays captured in books including “Running with Stilettos” and “Fabulous in Flats.” She recently published the children’s book, “ Finnigan the Circus Cat ,” which garnered a strong review from Publisher’s Weekly
