GRAND OPENING OF BREWERY & TAPROOM TO TAKE PLACE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4
Still Hill Brewery's local craft brews will be available on site
and
locally in restaurants and bars.
ROCKY HILL CT, JANUARY 21, 2016 -
Still Hill Brewery is excited to announce its
Grand Opening on Thursday February 4, 2016. The event will run from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. A 2:00 PM Ribbon Cutting ceremony is scheduled by Rocky Hill Mayor, Claudia Baio. Additional dignitaries, Chamber of Commerce members, Still Hill investors, fans and friends will be present. A tour of the Brewhouse and Taproom will follow with refreshments.
Still Hill's 4,200 square foot business is opening at the Shunpike Business Center in Rocky Hill, CT. The company will distribute craft brews to local bars and restaurants as well as pour pints and growlers in its adjoining Taproom.
"We invite people into our Taproom to take a tour, and to get to know us and our beer." said Scott Barbanel, head brewer and founder of Still Hill Brewery.
The Taproom, open on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons to start with, is the perfect place to try the beers Barbanel will craft. Three staple beers will initially be produced:
Still Hill IPA, Red Storm Ryesing Amber Ale, and Still Hill APA (American Pale Ale)
with plans to rotate seasonal beers, as well as experimental styles.
Barbanel is realizing his dream by opening a production brewery. "It's been an odyssey from using my first homebrewers kit I received from my kids on Father's Day 7 years ago, to becoming a professional brewer, to finding the perfect location in Rocky Hill, to recently completing construction of the Brewhouse and Taproom." said Barbanel. "We want to make the best craft beers possible and be a vibrant part of the Rocky Hill community."
