We have 11 strains in stock this week and two of them are new to Minerva including Da Purps and X-rated.

Not much is known about X-rated other than it's an indica dominant strain that produces a nice mellow body stone that is indicative of indica in general. It looks good and tastes good so give it a try while you can because supplies are limited.

On the other hand, we know quite a bit about Da Purps.  Fans of purple family strains are in for a treat with this indica/sativa hybrid. It has a sweet, powerful smell almost identical to a batch of grapes that a skunk has walked in. The taste is fruity and the effect is uplifting with good pain relief without giving you couch-lock.

Below is a list of available strains and as always, you can get the full test data*, prices, and more information on our website:
  • BlkDahliaBlack Dahlia (Sativa Dominant)
  • Blue Dream (Sativa)
  • Cannatonic (Indica/Sativa)
  • Da Purps (Indica/Sativa)
  • G-13 Haze (Sativa/Indica)
  • Harvest Blend (Sativa/Indica)
  • Magic Martian (Sativa Dominant)
  • Master Kush (Indica/Sativa)
  • Purple Mr. Nice (Indica)
  • X-rated (Indica Dominant)
  • Zozobra (Indica Dominant)

As you might have seen on our Facebook page, the public rules hearing regarding certifications for the use of medical cannabis, scheduled for Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., has been postponed until further notice.

The hearing was postponed for the following reason: "The Board must be able to accommodate the public who wish to attend and comment during this specific rule hearing. The Board has other business scheduled on the agenda for the same day. Therefore, the venue and timing of the hearing must be changed in order to accommodate all members of the public who have notified the Board of their intent to attend the hearing and to address the Board."

So, what this means is that the hearing can be reschedule and "no less than 30 days notice will be provided to the public once a future date has been set."  Only time will tell how this important topic plays out, but it's clear that the actions of the many patients who voiced their interest in attending the meeting, has had an impact thus far.
