Board Co-Chair: Reilly Zlab 

What made you want to work with RTB?

"I have been connected to nonprofits since growing up in Iowa. RTB was a great fit by looking at their overall mission and seeing that small change makes a big impact. Knowing the hard realities of housing especially in Boston makes me want to provide an opportunity for everyone to have access to affordable housing. Also, (it is important to me) to give people the option to age in place is crucial given that my grandmother was able to live by herself in her home into her 90s."

What about RTB is meaningful to you?

"The fact that all of these incredible people come together to help someone they have never met before."

What is your biggest goal for RTB?

"Helping Rebuilding Together Boston to improve branding and exposure in the city, we are a well kept secret even though we do great work."
Lowe's Build

What a difference a day makes!  Amazing day of work from Lowe's employees in August on a [RE]Build in Dorchester at a home for family with a member battling cancer. 
  • 18 new window installations
  • Entire (first, second third floor) front and back porch repainted
  • Crumbling basement door replaced and storm doors replaced/added
  • Plastered, scraped, painted numerous interior walls, and much more
  • Improved the health and safety for the members living in the home

A thousand thanks go out to the incredible Lowe's team, the individual volunteers who worked on the project, John Staiger, RTB Project Manager; and Marc Seigle, Project Supervisor.

A  busy fall is coming up! Shout out to our partners helping our neighbors to live in safe and healthy housing: Pegusystems (September), DPR Construction (September), Vertex (October) and MA Mortgage Bankers' Association (MMBA) (October).
