My enthusiasm and passion for vascular access is palpable. I have been involved and engaged in the vascular access specialty and AVA since 2005. My contributions with AVA over the years includes participating on the Shared Governance Task Force collaborating to redesign the decision making structure of the organization and Chair of the Membership Committee focused on member benefits and growth of the organization. Taking part in both of these AVA groups has given me a strong understanding of the association its history and its potential future. I can bring my strengths for being known as a high-energy, visionary, innovative, results-oriented nursing leader with a successful record for improved outcomes to the Board of AVA. Overall, my love for vascular access, experience in leadership, strength in strategic planning and developing others, along with other professional affiliations such as the American Organization of Nursing Executives (AONE) will give me a unique perspective on how to continue to drive AVA towards growth and success.
