Family:  Charlton is married to Sara and has two children, Ryland and Caroline

Interests: Trains in multiple disciplines of martial arts and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Occupation:

Charlton received his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Kentucky. After college, Charlton served on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. In 2006 he received his Masters in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Currently, he is on staff with Aspen Pointe, a large mental health organization in Colorado Springs. 

Why Training Ground?

I've had the pleasure of working with Training Ground since 2008. I started working with TG because I feel called to invest in the lives of young men. In part, this is because as a young man I grew up without my father and struggled deeply. I want these young men to have what I didn't....the investment of older men and a sense of how valuable they are to God and the culture around them. My role with TG is primarily as a group leader. During the program I lead a weekly process group where attendees get to work through what they are learning, what they are struggling with, and how they are interacting with one another.
