Interests:

I believe that everyone's story is worth telling. Each chapter, whether it is full of joy and celebration, or one with betrayal, deep loss, or tragedy, has significance and value. I honor the courage it takes to address these issues. My heart is for establishing a safe and trusting relationship with individuals and couples and discovering what is in the way of moving forward. Having someone to help put words to what's going on is life-giving and illuminates more the true you. I am committed to integrating all aspects of my own life experience, training, faith and gifting to better discern the guidance of the Holy Spirit while working with clients.    

 

When Joni isn't faithfully caring for her client's hearts, you might find her on a mountain stream fly-fishing or a ballroom floor dancing.

Why Training Ground?   

In 2007, I remember hearing Cory and Xan share over coffee at Starbucks their vision of TG as it was germinating in their hearts. I smiled, believed it was good and from God. It is good, very good.

 

It's real, it's tough, it's challenging this rare place called Training Ground. The soil of this setting is rich and only for those who want to press into God, dig into the Word, face some rigorous challenges and be open and alive to others.

 

The leaders are right there with the guys, mentoring, teaching, asking the hard questions and all the time believing in them and keeping vision alive. The leaders see what is in the heart of the Father and how He sees each young man. The impact of training and transforming these young men's lives for their Kingdom purposes has been and will continue to be known not only throughout cities but nations as well.

 

For the past 8 years, Joni has worked with the young men of Training Ground teaching on "hearing the Voice of God and offering an Introduction to understanding God's prophetic heart."
