Dear Beyond Imagination friends,

Six from our ministry participated in the Hope For Wholeness Conference held in the NC Mountains earlier in June.  We want to share with you a bit from some who attended.

The conference proved to be a very rewarding experience for me.  I had the opportunity to teach a breakout on "Healing From Abuse" and was able to have good rapport with the people that attended the breakout as well as build good relationships with many other attendees. The entire event was a very deep spiritual growth conference for all.  When I got back, this is one of the encouraging comments I received:

Hi Steven, I met you at the conference at breakfast Sat morning and just wanted to thank you. I had been very overwhelmed at the conference and had hit bottom Friday night. I had forced myself to go to breakfast and had prayed God would help me not to isolate. Then you just spoke so kindly to me and said for me to just be open to whatever the Lord had for me to hear. It gave me such a calm as I entered the day and you were right, after 2 intensely difficult days, the Lord truly began a healing in my life Saturday night. Thank you for being so like Jesus. I will always remember your kindness.

From Another Attendee

I first began attending conferences of this nature in April of 1996 and have been attending one or more almost yearly. I have enjoyed all of them, but this one was different. There was an atmosphere of peace and the Presence of the Lord that I had not felt before. Probably the highlight for me was the closing song that Dennis Jernigan sang over us. It was "Rise Up." I felt a new commissioning from God to rise up and embrace my destiny. I just watched and listened to it at this link, raised my arms and broke down crying.
