Greetings!

My name is Emily, and I'm the new Program Manager at Diabetes Hands Foundation, and a member of the TuDiabetes community.  Although I'm new to this online community, I've had type I diabetes since 1978. Read my diabetes "coming out" story on tudiabetes!

I've joined on here at DHF because I whole-heartedly embrace its mission to connect, engage, and advocate for people with diabetes. As you well know, each of us is, by necessity, our own doctor, therapist, pharmacist, cheering squad and shoulder to cry on... and that's a lot of jobs. I'm thankful that we're here to help each other and that I can be part of an organization that helps us do it.

Sincerely,

Emily Coles, Program Manager

Diabetes Hands Foundation

Type I diabetic since 1978
