At The Haven, we take pride in the accomplishments of those we serve. Boundaries are being pushed back, glass ceilings are broken, and the Sarasota-Manatee community is taking notice.  Over 800 individuals with disabilities are enrolled in programs and services at The Haven and enjoy a myriad of opportunities to support their personal growth. 

We are honored to stand with those we serve and to share in the joy of their success as they fulfill their academic and career goals and aspirations. We invite you to #BeTheOne on May 1 & 2 from noon to noon and make a lasting difference in the lives of the families and clients we are honored to serve every day!

Meet Megan

Megan (in the picture on the right with her friend Wendy) is a prime example of the mission of The Haven and an amazing success story for your donor dollars at work! She is both an employment program participant and resident of our campus. She has been very successful meeting her personal goals and after completing vocational milestones, is now gainfully employed by a local restaurant. She is proud to share her story about living and working at The Haven.

We were shocked when we found ourselves thrown into a world of medical appointments, constant struggles with our health insurance company to cover therapy sessions, and negotiating with the school system for Will's specialized educational needs. We had limited access to programs and desired to find the right fit for Will... and then we found The Haven.
