South Salt Lake Partner of the Year

 

South Salt Lake Mayor Cherie Wood presented Westminster College with the 2014 "Partner of the Year" award. President Brian Levin-Stankevich accepted the award during the annual State of the City Address on March 20th. Mayor Wood said, "This past year, Westminster has brought their alumni and collegiate partners and resources to the table, turning strangers into friends that work tirelessly on behalf of our community."

A Celebration of "Olympic" Proportions
To celebrate the amazing accomplishments of Westminster's student-athletes who competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics Games, the college will host a celebration for the campus and Sugar House community.

98th Annual Silver Tea
Join us as Westminster College hosts our 98th Annual Silver Tea on
Saturday, May 10th at 1:00 pm
in the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts.

Thank You for Sharing Your Love

This year's Love Utah Give Utah Day of Giving was a huge success with Westminster finishing third in the education category. Through challenge grants and the support of 220 donors, we raised more than $10,000 for scholarships Thank you for showing the love!
Alumni Spotlight - Andy Larsen

 
 
Andy Larsen ('12) is the Managing Editor of Salt City Hoops, the ESPN TrueHoop affiliate for the Utah Jazz, and host of a weekly radio show. Andy graduated from Westminster's honors program with a BS in Mathematics. Find out how Andy utilized his math skills to pursue a career in sports writing. Lois Fitzgerald 

Lois Fitzgerald ('40) has had a passion for flying ever since Charles Lindbergh flew solo across the Atlantic in 1927. She and her husband, Francis Fitzgerald, made flying a central focus of their lives until his passing in 1991. Learn what Lois did for Westminster aviation students to honor her husband's memory. 
Campus Faces - Class of 2014 Honor their Favorite Faculty



Students honored their favorite professors with the annual Faculty of the Year Award, given at Senior Dinner. Awards were given to Nancy Panos Schmitt- Gore School of Business; Bob Haworth- Gore School of Business; Rob Nicholes- School of Nursing; Jennifer Stock- School of Nursing; Tim Carr- School of Education; and Bill Bynum- School of Arts and Sciences.
