Meher Baba in 1952: A Presentation by
Elaine Munson   

 
 


This Sunday Elaine Munson will present on the special place that the very eventful year of 1952 holds in the annals of Meher Baba history. Below is a summary of what Elaine says she will be talking about:  

Some of Beloved Meher Baba's most significant work occured in 1952 on His trip to the West: from the opening of Meher Spiritual Center in Myrtle Beach, accompanied by His Beloved Mehera and others; to His extensive work on the Sufi Charter, and especially to Meher Baba's predicted accident to shed blood on our American soil to enable the United States to transform itself from a materialistic nation to a spiritual one. 

 


Looking back, it is now clear that 1952 was a year that was unparalled in the Avatar's life for the sheer number of important events that took place. Elaine will unwrap much of this history and share some of the details that stand out and have left an impression that is still felt over time. 

Come join us hear about this special chapter in Meher Baba's history!

The subject of study and discussion is Meher Baba's Discourses, which are available in print (e.g. at Meher Baba Books). The Discourses are also accessible online here:


Each week we will chronologically read a Discourse and discuss how it relates to our daily lives. Come join us and delve into Meher Baba's amazing Discourses like never before!
