The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce is passionate about developing business leaders.  Our community's future depends on it. 

The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce is working with New Quest Coaching & Consulting to give participants an excellent foundation in some of the leadership skills required to successfully lead their teams or departments.

Leadership Kamloops is designed with the business manager in mind.  Scheduled once a month in eight four-hour small group modules, this program makes it easy for the busy team leader to participate.  Because there is limited space, each participant will receive the attention they require to address their particular training needs.

On Sunday April 8, 2018 Kinder Morgan Canada Limited (KML) announced that it suspended all non-essential activities and related spending on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project. 

As leaders and members of the business community, your voice can make a difference as to whether this critical national Project will proceed. Now, more than ever, we need you to stand up in support and raise your voice for Canada's national interest.

Chamber News | Kamloops Chamber calls for more clarity on Proportional Representation

Kamloops, BC  - The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce membership recently met to discuss the Provincial Government's proposed election reform.

The current electoral reform initiative provides insufficient clarity as to what BC voters will be asked in a mail-in referendum.  There is no opportunity to engage citizens in a productive discussion to better understand each option, how it would work, and what the likely impact on the public agenda (government priorities and focus) would be. Voters may be asked to vote on something of which they are not fully aware.   It is that exact outcome the BC government was concerned about almost twenty years ago when it decided to take the extraordinary step of creating the Citizens' Assembly.
