FAREWELL PATTY!
Patty Reed was celebrated at the Ambassadors Summer Social last night at the Delray Beach Elks Lodge after her last day working at the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce. She was presented with a plaque by the Ambassadors Leadership Team including Carol Eaton, Sarah Crane and Johnny Mackey. Patty served as the Program Director (among other roles) in the Chamber for almost 11 years! We will miss Patty as she moves to Melbourne, FL.

Charles is a licensed attorney in Florida and California and founder of the Taft Street Law Firm. He has lived in Florida since 2012 and is married to his lovely wife Genevieve and father to Brann. From 2012-2017 Charles was the co-owner and chief legal officer of a family owned drug rehabilitation center for men, which he helped grow from two employees to twenty and ultimately sold in 2017.
With Taft Street, Charles uses his experience as a lawyer and small business owner to help other small business owners with a variety of legal issues ranging from company formation, employment issues, disputes, risk management, and exit strategies. He also drafts contracts, cease and desist letters, demand letters, and leases.
Taft Street is also a real estate firm and a full service title agency, equipped to provide title insurance and real estate closings. Charles advises buyers and sellers regarding their real estate investments and helps buyers protect those investments and sellers close their deals.

SIMPLY LAVISH PLANNING LAUNCHES "TASTE OF HAITI" Box

Chamber member Alnie Innocent of Simply Lavish Planning has figured out a way to bring Haiti to you with the "Taste of Haiti" Box and officially launched July 14th.
"I was inspired one day to showcase the scrumptious and appetizing delights of Haiti and decided to sell Haitian products at the Green Market in Delray Beach every Saturday. I would sell out every weekend and one of my returning customers from the Delray Chamber of Commerce asked if I still had the "Taste of Haiti" Box, and I realized at that moment that it was much bigger than just Delray and that the world needed to experience Haiti firsthand.
As a bi-monthly subscription, the "Taste of Haiti" Box offers a little of everything Haitian, from food products to beauty and jewelry, the box is an array of different aspects of what the "Perle des Antilles" has to offer. Each box is personally made with love and mixes a touch of everything
that you would like to discover.
"I wanted to make sure that I worked with local Haitian businesses and
Haiti-based merchants and artisans, so that each box exuded the beauty of Haiti and its products," says Ms. Innocent.
