Rev. Chuck will be leading a 3 week Advent Adult Study entitled “Why This Jubilee?” which explores the music we love at Christmas. The first class will be Sunday, December 3 rd at 9am in the Founders’ Room.
Music is such an important part of Advent and Christmas. Can you imagine Advent without “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”? How could we celebrate Christmas without carols like “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” and “Silent Night”?
James Howell takes inspiration from Christmas carols and popular songs to explore the birth of Jesus. He ponders the meaning of certain phrases from these songs and relates them to our daily lives. Join him in this rich remembrance for the season
