The drought is over! Heavy rain last week has refreshed the Maine woods with badly needed rain, alleviating the dangerous fire conditions and bringing stream levels to normal for this time of the year. The spring foliage is beginning to pop and soon the trees will be in full foliage. We are in our Caretaker Season which means inexpensive overnight lodging. Bring your own food, do your own cooking and stay for just $30 per night for members and $35 per person for non-members. During this weekend, families are invited to participate in several different outdoor educational experiences and celebrate Mother's Day.
