Lord, I Believe!
In the Epistle lesson for Sunday (Eph. 5:8-15), Paul calls us to walk as children of light. In the Gospel lesson for Sunday (Jn. 9:1-7, 13-17,34-39), Jesus heals a person who was born blind. Upon telling the blind man that He is the Messiah, the man says "Lord, I believe." God gave this man His Holy Spirit, by which he walked as a child of light, believing in and confessing Jesus Christ. God does the same for us, that we would walk as children of light, trusting in Jesus, our Savior, to give us life.
