From the Pastor
A Word From Our Lord
It's amazing what a word from our Lord, attached to a sign of his own choosing, will do. A word of promise concerning the welcome of a young child in the Lord's name, connected to a young child placed directly into the mix, realigns the Y chromosome back toward its God-given place of service to others, rather than service to the self. Status, rank, and reputation are massaged out of their idolatrous hypertrophy into a nimble flexibility from which the world can only  benefit, accompanied by an envy that only God can grant.
Welcome that sign and that word, dear Christian, in all the places where God sends our Lord-even suffering, even death, even sheer divine abandonment, and dare to welcome God all the way to newness of life, in full knowledge and confidence as to what all of this is truly all about.
