From the Pastor
Are You Prepared?
The Holy Scripture reveals, and the Creeds confess that Jesus will appear on the Last Day to judge the living and the dead.  We experience judgment all the time in our lives.  When it comes to judgment of any kind, the only question that matters is: are you prepared?

In the sending of the Son, Jesus Christ, who took on human flesh, who perfectly kept the law, who died for sinners, who rose from the grave, who sits at the right hand of the Father, who is revealed to us through the Word, who unites us to himself in death and eternal life through Holy Baptism, who feeds and sustains our bodies and souls with his own precious body and blood, we have been prepared for the Last Day and judgment.  There is nothing we could have done to prepare ourselves.  Nevertheless, we have been prepared by our Lord and we look forward to his appearance on the Last Day.
