From the Pastor
Happy Trinity Sunday!
"The days after the feast of the holy Trinity are days of constant growth. The Lord gives His Word and the seed sprouts and "grows and yields a hundredfold" (Luke 8:8). The vestments and paraments are green; the color of growth. Now we focus on the work of the Spirit in His church. The Lord has placed the seed of His Word in our hands. Now is the time of sowing the seed. Share the seed with those around you. The Lord Jesus will not let it return to Him empty, because He gives the growth."...we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing the substance. For the Father is one person, the son is another, and the Holy Spirit another. But the Godhead of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit is one, the glory equal, the majesty coeternal." -Athanasian Creed, lines 2-6 (LSB)

On Trinity Sunday, we have the opportunity to pause, reflect and give thanks for the wonderful works of God which we have considered in our hymns, readings, and sermons from Advent to Pentecost. We think of our creation, our redemption, our new and everlasting life with God. All these gifts have been provided for us by the one, true God. All three persons, have been active in their provision. Indeed, we are a blessed people. Blessed by God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
