If You Are a Sinner
This Sunday's Gospel is the parable of the Lost Son in Luke 15. What a powerful story this is; illustrating and giving to us the attitude of our heavenly Father toward us. The father in the story responds to his crabbing self-righteous son that he was compelled to receive back to sonship the lost son: "It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found" (Luke 15:32). If you are a sinner, you will want to be in church on Sunday to hear this message for yourself! Your Father is rushing out to greet you.
