No Other Reason but to Save You
Lent is the time for cleaning house, and Jesus has come to clean His house. He's removing every distraction, false opinion, off-kilter priority, and selfish motivation. Our deepest need and His suffering to meet that need confront us. The Lamb of God, the altar of the Holy Cross, and the blood poured out to cover sins wake us up to why we worship. Lent gruffly grabs us by the shoulders, turns us around, and pushes us to the foot of the cross so there can be no question why we come. Consider the dangers our Lamb faced, the fateful, inescapable death which awaited Him. He goes to the temple to offer. You go to church to receive. If you come for any other reason, then don't. He comes for no other reason but to save you.

Mmmm! Easter Breakfast!
Please join us and support the MLC youth for Easter Breakfast Sunday 1 April, 2018 between early and late service. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall. All money received will go toward MLC Youth events such as the Nicaragua Mission Trip, Higher Things, and LCMS U conferences.
If you can help provide a breakfast casserole Easter morning before early service, please contact Kim Bohot or Allison Kuhlmann for more information.
