From the Pastor
Original Sinners
"For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies." -Romans 8

Plants, animals, and the like should never be identified as sinner in that they do not bear the image of God and have never rejected God and His Word.

We, the original image bearers and sinners, are ultimately responsible for sin and for the ruining of the creation.  We know it.  We confess it.  We cry out to God with the rest of the creation for our redemption.

When will God will finally respond to these cries for deliverance?  Only God knows.  Until then, we make use of the first fruits of the Spirit.  That is, we trust in God to keep his promises.

College Bound
College Bound, preparation for college from a Christian perspective, will take place on 13 August 2017 during the Sunday School hour at MLC in the youth room. It will be led by Pr. Ian Pacey. The goal  is to help prepare students spiritually and intellectually for the transition from high school to college/university. This meeting is mainly for incoming high school seniors, incoming college students (2yr, 4yr, does not matter), and their parents. Please contact Pr. Pacey or Robert Burmeister for more information.
