Something to Eat
The feeding of the 5,000 is without a doubt one of Jesus' best-known miracles. It is popular with all due to our Lord's helping those who were in real need.
The miraculous power shown by Jesus while turning five loaves of bread and two fish into a meal that fed 5,000 men (not to mention wives and children) is certainly clear evidence of Jesus' divine nature.
In addition to the demonstration of divine power, the feeding of the 5,000 also teaches us that that there is always enough Jesus to go around for everybody.
Whether it is bread and fish for the feeding of the 5,000 or the forgiveness of sins for the entire world, Jesus alone is able, is desirous, and has provided for our most important needs; including the full forgiveness of our sins.
