The Hidden How

The kingdom of God comes when our heavenly Father gives us His Holy Spirit so that by His grace we believe His holy Word and lead godly lives here in time and there in eternity. So what's the hidden "how" in the Gospel lesson? It's this: how does a sinner repent and believe the Gospel? Here lies hidden the mystery of mysteries: our conversion, regeneration, and renewal. A man running in one direction with all his might now runs with greater vigor in the opposite direction. A man fighting against God with all his power now dines as a faithful son in his Father's house. A man weary with death's decay now shines like a newborn babe. We know not "how" it happens but only "that" it happens, and that for Jesus's sake your Father accomplishes it for you!

In order to keep summer Sunday school open, we are in need of your help. Two teachers per class are needed in order to fill our spots. Please consider co-teaching a class or two. We still have a few openings in July and August!
