Celebrate!
Join us as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Pastor Murray here at MLCS.

BBQ and good fellowship are on the menu for THIS SUNDAY 16 October after late service in the Fellowship Hall and Commons.

Our improved organ will also be rededicated following the BBQ at 2:00 PM. Join us in the Sanctuary for a short service and music that showcases our organ's new sounds.
From the Pastor
The Principle of Persistence!  (Luke 18:1-8)
Great leaders resist the pressure by becoming persistent in their principle. God's Word teaches us about the principle of persistence.  By becoming captive to the word of God, leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther practiced the principle of persistence even in the midst of most difficult circumstances. The persistent widow in our text is not only brave enough to stand before the powerful judge, but also ask him repeatedly, which finally led to her success. Our Lord himself is persistent to lay down his life for the salvation of all of humanity.  He is persistent to overcome all pressures, temptations, and obstacles in the journey to the cross. Jesus gives us the strength not only to cry out to him with persistence, but also to receive the intended gifts from His gracious bounty. He is swift to save us! Amen.
