Join us in Celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord
Good Friday 30 March 7:00 PM Easter Vigil 31 March 8:00 PM Easter Sunday 1 April 8:15 AM & 11:00 AM
From the Pastor
Today is Good Friday. On this day, we remember all that Jesus accomplished for us by way of his innocent suffering and death on the cross.
We remember that he has crushed the serpent's head. We remember that he has taken away the power of sin and death over us. We remember that he has even satisfied the just wrath of God due to sinners.
Because our Lord suffered and died in such a way, there can be no mistake about God's love for us. "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). We are Jesus' friends. We know we are his friends, because he has died for us.
All children are invited, ages 2 through 5th grade.
Please meet in the school gym at 10:20 AM with your Easter basket! (during the Sunday School hour/Easter Breakfast)
6th-8th graders: If you would like to serve as a helper, please meet on the school
playground at 10:00 AM to help hide eggs.
Tell your children how Easter eggs remind us of the new life that
Jesus won for us on the cross.
If you have suggestions about things that you'd like to see in the Memorial Messenger, please let the office staff know. We would love to hear from you.
