Please help us welcome Vicar Martzowka to MLCS on Sunday 1 July. We will have donuts and a nice breakfast spread between the services, before bible class.

Toward the Cross and Hope
The concept of healing has been preached and taught incorrectly by some when they pointed toward instant healing and an escape from suffering. Our Lord Jesus instantly healed people and rescued them from their physical suffering by using His Divine powers. Our Lord still has that power. However, our teaching of healing should help us to look toward the cross, but not as an instant escape from it.  The teaching of the cross helps us to face suffering, endure it with character, and look forward with hope because God's love has been poured out for us on the cross (Romans 5:3-5).

Summer Sunday School Sign-Up
In order to keep summer Sunday school open, we are in need of your help. Two teachers per class are needed in order to fill our spots. Please consider co-teaching a class or two. We still have openings in July and August!
