Week of Weeks
We are on the doorstep of Holy Week. We follow Jesus from Palm Sunday to the Feast of the Resurrection. In that sacred eight day span He will institute the Supper of His presence among us, he will pray in agony in Gethsemane, give himself up to an unjust trial, be nailed to a cross, die, be buried, descend to hell, and rise again from the dead triumphant. This is the great mystery of our salvation worked out in the life of our Lord. Christians come for worship all eight days to see their salvation worked out in Christ. This is the week of weeks.
Sunday's Scripture Readings & Hymns
Hymns: 442, 455, 343, 531, 441
