What are You Waiting For?

What are you waiting for? Ask that question today of a young child and you know the answer you'll hear: "Christmas!" Ask an adult the same question, and you may hear a long pause before you get an answer. The older we get, the more we find ourselves waiting for things with dread instead of child-like anticipation. Advent is about the coming of the Lord Christ - not something to be feared, but something to be hoped for, dreamed of, and desired. "Behold the days are coming," says the Lord. For a few moments, let's be children once more, and look forward with bated breath for the coming redemption of ourselves and the whole world in Jesus.

Please join us after late service on 16 December as we go caroling to our shut-ins.

ALL ARE WELCOME!

We will meet in the Narthex directly after late service. We will eat lunch (provided by Jason's Deli) in the Fellowship Hall and then begin the route. Music and maps will be provided. We hope to make 4 stops.
