Give Life
The last few Mays, we held blood drives and MLC donated a total of 85 units of blood to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. These were record years for MLC as we were donating in honor of a fellow member. It's that time of year again--Please consider donating blood on 1 May between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM in our school gym. Sign up for a time slot by contacting
Tessa by responding to this email, or 713 782 6079, or visit the table in the Commons between services this Sunday.
Thank you to those of you who will take a few minutes of your time to GIVE LIFE.

Worthy is the Lamb
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!" -Revelation 5.
When we say that someone or something is worthy, what we mean is the person or the thing has value and is deserving of our honor or our respect. Jesus is worthy, first, because of who He is. He is God of God and light from light. He is the only begotten Son of the Father. In addition, Jesus is worthy because of what he has done. What has he done? He has carried out the Father's will perfectly. He has given His life as a sacrifice for sinners. He has conquered death and risen to eternal life. Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, we have been forgiven entirely and have been received as God's holy people. Worthy is the Lamb!
