MENTORING & DISCIPLESHIP MULTI-CHURCH MEETUP this saturday, april 28th
On Saturday, April 28th from 10:30am-12pm at East Village Cafe, our Mentoring & Discipleship Team will host a Meetup brunch that connects people interested in being mentored/discipled from Mosaic with friends of ours from First Baptist Church of Austin and from Journey. We're hoping to form partnerships with these 2 churches that will allow some of us to meet with their older or more mature members, but that will also eventually allow some of us to pour into the lives of their teenagers & students. If you plan on coming, please RSVP on our Facebook Event page so we can plan accordingly.

THE MOSAIC CARE TEAM
We're thrilled to announce a brand new ministry team at Mosaic -the Care Team. For some time we've been developing and training this small team to begin "lay counseling" others in the community. To find out more about how we hope to care for Mosaicians in this new way - including group sessions focused on specific topic - check out the post on our website. |
"RECOVERING FROM HURT" MAY 10TH The first group session the Care Team will be facilitating will be on Thursday night, May 10th. That night's topic will be "Recovering from Hurt" and will be led by Sam Myrick & Sarah Bingaman. This free session will be from 6:30-8:00 pm at Sarah's office in South Austin. Anyone's invited to attend. But we will have limited space, so if you'd like to attend, please email Sam. |
AGAPE MEAL - MAY 13TH
This quarter's Agape Meal will be on May 13th. Yes, that's Mother's Day. But it's also our last chance to dine & commune together before our students start Summer break & many of us start Summer vacations/traveling. So if you're a Mom - tell Dad to whip something up for this. And everyone else bring something to share for what is always a special night in our community.
