Presumably, what you dread does not include the return of the Practice of the Week. The POTW has indeed returned from its summer vacation (it had a great time in Jamaica, I understand), and starts of August with a great one: Risk the Dreaded Experience.

Jacy Good: Safe Driving Advocacy. 

After having her life turned upside down by another driver's decision to use his cell phone while driving, Jacy Good created the program "Hang Up and Drive." The program was created to facilitate face-to-face discussion about the reality of the irreparable damage caused by distracted driving. It is designed for groups of people of all ages, and shows us all, that as individuals, we wield the power to eliminate distracted driving and ultimately save lives.

Next Bird Walk. CUC Community Minister Rev. LoraKim Joyner will be leading the next Bird Walk on Sun Aug 24. It starts at 8:30am, around back of the Parsonage.

What Does the Macaw Say? LoraKim will be presenting a program at the White Plains Public Library, Tue Aug 26 at 6:00pm. SEE FLYER.
