Nurture spirituality. Foster compassion. Engage in service.

CUC is in the transformation business. We don't believe people come to a congregation to stay the same.

Journey Groups are small groups of 10 to 15 people that meet once a month to plunge deeper  into exploring CUC's theme of the month. Over time, they'll change your outlook -- and your life.

Practice of the Week
Aspire Without Attachment

Aspiration is about liking. Attachment is about wanting. These involve separate systems in your brain.

Sun Aug 10 -- 10:00am
Worship Service

Rev. Meredith Garmon.
"Too Big for the Box"

The divine, spiritual truth, the ground of healing and wholeness -- whatever we call reality at its most inclusive -- is too big to fit in the box of what any one authority -- person or doctrine -- decrees. External authority is one box too small. The internal authority of our own ego is another box too small. We need the authority of individual conscience, and we also need religious teachers as guides and companions on the spiritual path to help us see our own delusions and mind-traps.

From Perry: "As I sit in my cleaned out and almost completely-organized office, the most perfect breeze passes through the open door and peacefully awakens my senses. In its wake, I cannot help but pause for a moment to notice the beauty around me, feeling fully alive and connected to the nature outside the door and the life of the congregation within it."
