Nurture spirituality. Foster compassion. Engage in service.
September Theme: Faith
Ingathering / Water Cermony

Sun Sep 7, the Worship Service will be our annual "Ingathering" all-ages service.

As is our tradition, the service will include a Water Ceremony. Bring a small sample of water that represents for you the predominant mood of your last couple months:
  • Still waters of rest & renewal;
  • Shining waters of joy & happiness
  • Storm waters of grief and loss
  • Rushing waters of transition and change

Practice of the Week
Don't Know

"Don't know" doesn't mean "me dumb." It just means being open and receptive to whatever may be the case without forcing upon it our preconceptions.

Journey Groups Starting

Your Unitarian Universalist journey is one that has the potential to slowly transform your life. Together we can grow in depth and spiritual maturity. We do this by exploring together the significant issues on which religions at their best have always guided people to greater insight -- such issues as faith, death, forgiveness, hope, justice, love, brokenness.

As of this writing, we have 69 people signed-up to be in a Journey Group -- and 14 group facilitators.

Journey Groups meet once a month for 10 months (Sep through Jun). I think you'll find them to be tremendously valuable and you won't want to miss a single one. However, even you miss most of your groups meetings, you'll still find it valuable to attend occasionally. Signing up does not commit you to attend -- we just need to know which group you'll go to when you do have a chance to go.
