2014 Schedule of Events

 

 

Plans are underway for Merrimack's 2014 Fourth of July Celebration. Listed below you will find the current schedule of events & activities. This year, the Parks & Recreation Department will be managing the Annual 4th of July Parade.  

Thursday, July 3rd - Merrimack Concert Association

Concert at Abbie Griffin Park at 6:30 p.m. 

                                         

Kick off the Independence Day Celebration with an evening of patriotic tunes, marches, and other popular selections performed by the Merrimack Concert Association. Please note that this concert is on Thursday night instead of the standard Wednesday Night. Friday, July 4th - Sparkler 5K Race/Walk   

The Sparkler 5K Run/Walk is held every year on July 4th with all profits benefiting the Merrimack High and Middle School Track and Cross Country programs. Race begins & ends at the Merrimack YMCA, 6 Henry Clay Drive. Rotary Club of Merrimack's Annual Pancake Breakfast

@ Merrimack High School from 8:00 am - 11:00 am

                   

Bring the family! Enjoy breakfast with your friends and neighbors! What is the breakfast spread?Atthe annual 4th of July pancake breakfast, you can enjoy:

Tickets:  The tickets are $8.00 for adults; $5.00 for seniors; $4.00 for children under 12; and free for children under 4.

 Annual 4th of July Parade begins at 1:00 pm

 

The Annual 4th of July parade kicks off at 1:00 pm from Tractor Supply (the Commons), 515 Daniel Webster Highway. 

Children of all ages are invited to participate in the 4th of July parade by decorating their bicycle, wagon or stroller.

 

The 4th of July Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses and much more.

 Annual 4th of July Fireworks 

 

Grab your blanket and find a good spot at the Merrimack High School in time for the show which starts at 9:00pm. We are excited to announce that Atlas PyroVision Productions, Inc. has been contracted this year to put on a SPECTACULAR fireworks display. They are one of the leaders in the industry and put on hundreds of shows annually. It promises to be a first-class display!!
