Happy Holidays from Quiet Warrior Racing

Dear Off-Road Advocacy Supporter,

As QWR enters its fourth year of operation, we want to thank all of the sponsors, clubs, and individuals who have been supporting our 24/7/365 OHV advocacy full-service program. In 2009, QWR's President, Don Amador, decided to take his recreation-oriented professional consulting services full-time.

From 1998 to present, Amador continues to serve as a contractor to the BRC and proudly represents that organization as its Western Representative. However, there are a lot of non-BRC projects and issues that demand attention (and your support) to help sustain responsible OHV recreation on public and private lands.

Often those projects are political in nature and cannot be funded by 501 (c) (3) non-profit tax-exempt organizations such as BRC, NOHVCC, and Tread Lightly! Other projects that involve protection of prime OHV recreational opportunity are in rural areas where there is little if any fiscal support from local riders.   Many times local users do not belong to or support any national or state groups hence those state and national umbrella organizations are often not able to fund staff to work on some of those projects. But that work must get done nevertheless.

QWR faces many of the same fiscal issues that confront other small businesses. Those expenses include taxes, insurance, internet, phone, office supplies, air fare, fuel, lodging, vehicle maintenance and repairs, and the list goes on and on.

As you prepare for 2013, QWR respectfully requests that you or your business or club considers joining a growing number of sponsors who believe in our mission to promote and protect responsible OHV recreation in all advocacy issues areas at the local, state, and national levels. Those topics include trail ethic education, the administrative process, legal and legislative efforts, collaboration with other stakeholder groups, meetings with lawmakers and decision-makers, scientific research, politics, academia, and resource management.

Thanks again to all who are supporting QWR and other OHV advocacy groups. Without your support we would cease to exist. It's really just that simple. No donation or sponsorship is too small.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Don Amador, President
